Library Cards & Borrowing
LIBRARY CARDS
During our COVID-19 closing, you can apply for a library card by filling out this form or emailing our director at director@trumansburglibrary.org.
Everyone is welcome to use the library. A library card will allow you to use online resources and borrow materials. Babies to seniors and all ages in between are eligible for a library card. An ID and proof of mailing address are required to sign up. Children under age 12 need a parent/guardian’s permission to get their library cards. Upon registering for a card a patron may check out 2 items that day, and the library card will be mailed to the given address. Recognizing that a wide variety of family structures exist, there are circumstances where children (under age 18) may obtain multiple library cards. Please contact the library director for more information.
