UPL volunteers Laura and Suzanne will host a card making workshop on Saturday, February 3 in the library. Come by anytime between 11am and 1pm to make a card using the provided materials. If you like, you can bring some of your own materials to include such a ribbon, photo, letter, or sticker. This is a free program for all ages.

A Tropical Staycation
Aloha!
Did you know we have a learn to play ukulele kit? It comes with two instruments, so you and your child, brother, mom, neighbor, great aunt Mildred, or best friend (unless your best friend is a cat, because you DO need opposable thumbs) can learn together.
If you are registered as a UPL patron, you can place a hold for it online.
Step 1. In the library catalog, search for ukulele.
Step 2. On the lefthand side bar, check the box that says Trumansburg-Ulysses Philomathic Library to limit your search.
Step 3. Select the learn to play ukulele kit item and click place hold request.
Step 4. Log in using your library card barcode and password, and complete your request!
Weather Closings Thursday and Friday!
The library will be closing at 5pm tonight, Thursday 1/4, and will be closed all day tomorrow, Friday 1/5, due to wintery conditions. We apologize for any inconvenience. Stay warm and safe, everyone!
