Cynthia Mannino
Cynthia’s bio:
I studied Social Work and Art on LI, and graduated from the SUNY at Stony Brook in 1994. I value libraries and enjoy being part of the library community. Working with people in groups is a meaningful experience for me. I have enjoyed serving as a Trustee of UPL since 2012. I’ve been serving as the Office of the Treasurer since 2012. I have chaired the Annual Candlelight Dinner, Libations for the Library, served as Chair the Director Search committee twice, and enjoy helping at the book sales. I look forward to working with the UPL Trustees and Director to continue to keep UPL on track to serve its mission to the community.
Dolores Higareda
Dolores’s bio:
I have served as trustee previously for 5 years and would like an opportunity to serve again. Me and my family have been part of this community since 1987. When my children were young I coached softball and baseball, later served on TCSD School Board for 6 years, and served as staff member of Cornell University Hearing Board for Office of Judicial Administration. Retired from Cornell University 2013. Throughout my career at Cornell I worked as administrator/financial manager and feel these skills will benefit the library. The library cares about our community and I care about the library.
