Presenter Erica Herman of Get Your GreenBack Tompkins under Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County has been working with residents and energy efficiency since 2018. Prior, she monitored invasive hydrilla in Cayuga Lake, and provided outdoor/environmental education for middle-schoolers with Nature’s Classroom in Connecticut. Not only is she excited to engage various age groups, but she enjoys energizing them too.

 In recognition of the Town of Ulysses’ pride in its natural resources and beauty and commitment to environmental protection and sustainability, the Town Board has officially proclaimed April 19-25 Arbor Week, an expansion of Arbor Day.
