Libraries and story times go hand in hand; here’s where you can get your story fix!

Baby/Toddler Storytime with Miss Jackie
At the Trumansburg Community Nursery School
First & Third Wednesdays from 10:30-11:30 AM, October-May
Includes a toddler craft, books, songs, and finger plays. Geared towards 1-3 year olds with parental involvement.

Family Storytime at the Library
Thursdays from 10:30-11:30 AM
Songs, stories, finger plays, and sensory activities followed by a craft. Typical group includes ages 0-8.

Empire Passes Now Available!

With summer just around the corner (hard to believe, right?) we are excited to announce that the library now has Empire Passes available for checkout! We have three passes available; each pass will admit one car to any park in the New York State Parks system- carpool with your friends or family for maximum fun efficiency!

You can use the Empire Pass for entry to local parks including Taughannock Falls and Watkins Glen, as well as many, many more parks, beaches, lakes, and trails all over the state from Niagra to Long Island.

Passes are loaned for one week, and cannot be held or renewed.

Gingerbread Houses at the Library

Join Amy Dawson from Emoticakes for an afternoon of gingerbread fun! This is a free program for all ages, small children need to be accompanied by a grownup.

Hoopla Available June 13th

Hoopla is a new electronic resource, available through the library on June 13th. Patrons may instantly borrow free digital movies,ebooks, music, audiobooks, comics, and more!

Simply follow these steps to use Hoopla:

1. Download the app or go to hoopladigital.com

2. Log in with your library card

3. Borrow up to 3 items per month

Thursday Story Hour Party! May 29 at 10:30 am

Join us as we bid farewell to readers Jean Dawson and Kris Alling, with a party following their final Thursday Story Hour on May 29 at 10:30 am.

We will miss them!

Thursday story times will resume in September. In the meantime, you can attend story times outside at the Trumansburg Farmer’s Markets on Wednesdays at 4:00 pm, beginning May 14 and continuing through October 15.
