Date: August 29, 2017
Time: 6:00 pm
Place: Ulysses Philomathic Library Melvin Community Room
74 East Main Street, Trumansburg, NY
After an ill-timed power outage last Tuesday, we hope you will join us for a rescheduled discussion of our community read book, FREE? Stories about Human Rights. Copies can be picked up at UPL, and at various businesses around Trumansburg. If you have a copy that you have finished reading, please return it to the library, or give it to a friend who hasn’t read it yet!
We invite you to share your thoughts on this collection of short stories at the library on Tuesday, August 29 at 6pm. We will have a local Amnesty International representative in attendance, and additional materials from Youth for Human Rights International will be available to foster further discussion. If you are unable to attend this event, but wish to share your reflections, please do so in the discussion section of the Community Read Discussion event on the Ulysses Philomathic Library’s Facebook page.
Our community read is generously funded by the Myrtle Dee Nash Memorial Fund of the Community Foundation of Tompkins County.
