Pick the locks, solve the riddles, and unwrap the mysteries of the library every Monday! Participants will explore mysteries and thrillers from the collection while attempting to solve physical puzzles, open locks, and defeat the labyrinth. For tweens and teens.

Read, watch, and discuss book adaptations to film while you eat snacks and receive a free book to keep! For teens 13+
This month we’ll watch The Greatest Showman (PG) and discuss the nonfiction book Big Top Burning by Laura Woolett (2016 International Literacy Association Award for Intermediate Nonfiction, Silver 2016 Eureka! Nonfiction Children’s Book Award from the California Reading Association)

UPL Book Club
The UPL Book Club is a group of enthusiastic readers who usually meet on the last Wednesday of each month, at 1pm in the Melvin Community Meeting Room at the library. Everyone is welcome!
On Wednesday January 29th, UPL Book Club members will meet to discuss and select the books we will read for 2025. This meeting will take place in the library’s History Room.
